Baked Oatmeal

This is one of our family’s favorite breakfasts – one we often save for special occasions just because of how delicious and how special of a treat it is!


Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter

1 cup sugar

2 beaten eggs

3 cups oatmeal

1/2 tsp. salt

3 tsp. baking powder

1 cup milk


Directions:

In medium bowl cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add remaining ingredients and mix until all mixture is moist.


Pour into greased 9x9" pan. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the top and bake 350° for 30-40 minutes (or until a fork inserted in the middle of the pan comes out clean). Eat plain like a coffee cake or add milk for more of a cereal consistency.
