Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients:

1 lb. round steak, cut into 1/4" strips

3 Tbsp. flour

1/2 tsp. salt

3-oz can mushrooms

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 clove garlic

1 Tbsp. tomato paste

10 (1/2 oz) cans beef bouillon

1 cup sour cream

2 Tbsp. white wine


Directions:

Heat skillet; add 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo. Add beef; brown quickly. Add mushrooms, onion, and garlic. Cook until onion is tender. Remove meat and mushrooms from pan. Add 2 tbsp. oleo. Blend in flour. Add tomato paste and beef broth. Cook until thick and bubbly. Return meat and mushrooms to skillet. Stir in sour cream and wine; cook until heated through. Do not boil. Serve over hot buttered noodles.

Makes 4-6 servings.
