Best Ever Potato Soup

Ingredients:


6 bacon strips, diced

3 cups potatoes (peeled and cubed)

1 can chicken broth

1 small carrot, grated

½ cup chopped onions

1 Tbsp. Parsley flakes

½ tsp each: salt, pepper, celery seed

3 Tbsp. Flour

3 c. milk

8 oz cheese, cubed



Directions:

In large saucepan, cook bacon; drain. Add potatoes, broth, carrot, onion, parsley, celery seed, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender (15 min).

Combine flour and milk until smooth; add to soup. Boil and stir 2 minutes. Add cheese, stir until melted and soup is heated through.


Makes 8 servings
