Crescent Rolls

Ingredients:

1/2 lb. oleo, melted

3/4 c. milk

1 pkg. dry yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water

2 eggs, beaten

1/2 cups sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

4 cups flour


Directions:

Heat milk and oleo together. Cool until warm, then add dissolved yeast. Beat eggs. Add sugar and salt. Combine all ingredients, adding flour last. Beat until smooth. Refrigerate overnight. Divide dough in half and roll each half into a circle. Cut each into 16 pie shaped wedges. Brush with melted shortening. Roll up, starting with wide end of wedge. Brush again with shortening. Let rise until light. Bake for 10 minutes in 400 degree oven.
