Custard Pie

Ingredients:

3 eggs

3/4 cup sugar

1/4 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon

1 tsp. vanilla

2 1/2 cups milk, scalded


Directions:

Heat oven to 400. In large bowl, beat eggs. Add sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla; mix well. Blend in hot milk. Pour into pastry-lined pan. Bake at 400 for 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool. Serve warm or chilled. Makes 8 servings.
