Lazy Cabbage Roll
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/3 lb fried bacon
2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup ketchup
1 med cabbage
1 grated onion
3/4 cup cooked rice
Directions:
Cook and drain ground beef. Add remaining ingredients. Shred head of cabbage. Layer small roasting pan with alternating layers of cabbage and hamburger mixture until all ingredients are used up. Top layer should be cabbage.
Sauce:
10 oz can tomato soup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
Combine all ingredients for the sauce together and pour over cabbage. Cook at 350 for about 40 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley (if desired), and serve.
