Microwave Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients:

1/4 cup white syrup

1/2 cup margarine

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. baking soda

1 1/2 to 2 poppers of popcorn


Directions:

Mix syrup, brown sugar, butter and salt together; cook 4 minutes on full power, stirring twice. Then add vanilla and baking soda. Stir until foamy and pour over popped corn in a brown grocery bag. Stir well with wooden spoon. Fold up bag and put in microwave for 1 minute. Stir well and put in again for 1 minute. Stir well and put in again for 1 minute. Stir and spread in large pans or foil to cool.
