Creamy Oatmeal Porridge
I was never much of a fan of oatmeal until I discovered what a transformation there was when the oats were boiled in milk instead of water, now I love it, and what’s more, so do my kids! There’s no more struggle in our house trying to get the kids to eat their oatmeal, in fact, more often then not THEY’RE the ones begging me to make it for breakfast!
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats
3 cups milk

1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup raisins (optional)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan a bring to boil. Boil just until the mixture thickens and the oats are soft, but be careful not to overcook.
