Peach Kuchen

Ingredients:

1 pkg. yeast

1/4 cup warm water

1/2 cup margarine

1/2 cup sugar

3 eggs

2 1/2 cups flour

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 cup milk


Directions:

Sprinkle yeast into water, stir to dissolve. Cream margarine and sugar. Add yeast, eggs, flour, salt and milk. Beat until well blended. Spread in greased 9 inch square pan. Arrange peach topping, cover, let rise in warm place about 1 hr. or till double in bulk.

Peach Topping: Arrange 3 cups sliced peaches, well drained on top of batter. Combine 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon and sprinkle over peaches. Sprinkle 3 Tbsp. melted margarine also.

Apple Topping: Arrange 3 cups sliced apples on batter. Mix together till crumbly: 2/3 cup sugar, 6 Tbsp. margarine, 1/2 cup flour, 2 tsp. cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples.
