Pie Pastry
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
2/3 cup shortening
water
Directions:
Stir together flour and salt; cut in shortening till pieces are the size of small
peas. Sprinkle 1 Tbsp. water over part of mixture. Gently toss with fork; push to
side of bowl. Repeat with 4 to 6 Tbsp. more cold water until all is moistened. Divide
dough in half; form into balls.
