Rhubarb Demijohn
Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sour cream
1 egg
1/2 cup nut meats, chopped
2 cups rhubarb, finely diced
1/2 cup sugar
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients. Add cream, egg and nuts. Set aside.
Combine rhubarb and sugar. Put rhubarb in a buttered 1 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar and top with the cream mixture. Bake at 375 until done. Serve warm plain or with whipped cream.
