Strawberry Jell-O Mold

Ingredients:

2 pkg. (3-oz) strawberry Jell-O

2 cups boiling water

3/4 cup cold water

3/4 cup sliced strawberries

Cool whip

Directions:

Dissolve 1 pkg. Jell-O in 1 cup boiling water; stir in cold water. Chill until slightly thickened. Stir in strawberries. Pour into 1 quart mold. Chill until set but not firm.

Dissolve remaining gelatin in 1 cup boiling water; chill until slightly thickened.

Save 1/4 cup cool whip for garnish if desired. Fold remaining topping into thickened Jell-O. Spoon over fruited Jell-O. Chill until firm.
