Sweet-Sour Beans

Ingredients:

8 bacon slices (fried and crumbled)

4 large onions, peeled and cut in rings

1/2 - 1 cup brown sugar    

1 tsp. dry mustard  

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 cup vinegar

2 (15 oz) cans butter beans, drained

1 (16 oz) can green lima beans, drained

1 (16 oz) can kidney beans, drained

1 (11 oz) can New England style baked beans


Directions:

Place onions in skillet, add sugar, mustard, garlic, salt and vinegar. Cook 20 minutes covered. Add bacon and then add onion mixture to beans which have been placed in a 3 qt casserole. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Makes 12 servings.
