Three Bean Casserole

Ingredients:

1 (15 to 16 oz) can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained

1 (15 oz) can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained

1 (16 oz) can lima beans, rinsed and drained

1 lb. lean ground beef

1 lg. onion, chopped

1 garlic clove, minced

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

Dash of pepper

2 Tbsp. prepared mustard

1/2 cup catsup

1 tsp. ground cumin

1/4 cup water

1 Tbsp. vinegar


Directions:

In a 2 1/2 qt. casserole, combine beans; set aside. In a skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic until beef is no longer pink. Remove from the heat; drain. Add remaining ingredients to skillet; mix well. Stir beef mixture into beans. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes or until heated through. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
